Administrative Officer

Responsible for administering the full range of administrative functions with primary focus on fiscal and human resources. Serve as principle staff officer and primary assistant to the CEO, providing leadership, oversight, information, guidance and recommendations on readiness and day-to-day matters of the staff. Serve as primary contact for travel preparation and for the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS). Serve as purchasing agent for the facility and prepares requisitions and purchase orders. Develops, plans and executes the facility operating budget. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-11:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related to the position being filled. GS-11 Example of Specialized
Experience:
With little supervisory oversite and work completed independently; Experience identifying, obtaining, monitoring, and/or advising on a variety of services essential to the direction and operation of an organization to include fiscal and budget preparation and execution, property management, procurement of goods and services, human resources, policy interpretation and implementation, and correspondence drafting and tracking. Experience:
Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
