Maintenance Mechanic

Performs minor carpentry and plumbing repairs. Performs minor painting and electrical repairs. Performs minor HVAC work (i.e., adjusting and calibrating thermostats, pneumatic controls and HVAC and electric energy management systems). Performs ground maintenance and custodial duties. Receives, unloads, and processes incoming deliveries and may be required to regularly move and lift objects over 50 pounds. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). Experience:
Performed work in all areas of Plumbing, Carpentry, Equipment Repair Painting, and Electrical, at the journeyman level. Performed preventive maintenance on all equipment and test all equipment for effective/efficient use. PHYSICAL EFFORTS:
Work is perform from ladders, scaffold, platforms, and in cramped hard-to-reach places. This requires standing, stooping, bending, climbing and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. There is frequent lifting, carrying and setting up materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, may lift or move with assistance moderately heavy objects weighing more than 50 pounds. MEDICAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be physically able to perform efficiently the duties of the position. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is inside and outside, where dirt, spray, smoke, and/or fumes are usually present. Surface may also be prepared and coated in bad weather. Wearing of protective equipment and clothing that are sometimes heavy and uncomfortable may occasionally be required. There is frequent exposure to possibility of cuts, scraps, burns, bruises, infections, and occasional exposure to the possibility of broken bones. Working in sewer lines, grease traps, and moving equipment to clean out sewer lines. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
