Custodial Worker
Complete daily checklist of completed custodial/housekeeping related duties. Stocks areas with paper supplies, linen, soap, and required chemicals. Removes non-infectious and infectious wastes such as biological materials, blood and other body fluids appropriately. Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and maintain floors such as tile, carpet, and linoleum. Adheres to policies for patient confidentiality and standards of conduct at all times. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. Experience and/or training to perform most duties of the Custodial Worker including cleaning a variety of different types of flooring, removing stains from a variety of surfaces, disinfecting and deodorizing lavatories.A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
